I just find it funny how easily hypocrisy shows. I’m finally speaking up about this issue now because I usually allow some healthy debates to occur before I finally make a decision. But now I’ve finally decided. I won’t push my beliefs onto other people, but here are just somethings to think about on this issue as a whole:
Some people who call themselves “pro-life” will let other people die on the street in order to preserve their quality of health care. It’s funny how when a person’s own life (in their health care) enters the equation they basically say “fuck everyone else.” Yet when their own life or health isn’t involved they want the government to intervene in the health/life decisions of other people.
People would rather allow the heads of insurance companies to get filthy rich with money that could help the lives of people who need it. Not to mention health insurance companies are scammy in themselves trying to find any and all loopholes to try and screw you out of your benefits and disbursements when shit does happen, just to maximize their own profits (this is the nature of private businesses). Trust me, I know I’m currently in a struggle with a hospital and an insurance company.
Those are just two major issues for ordinary people to think about for the time being.
